COVID-19 Measures taken for Clients & Staff.
KLR are undertaking the following measures
Appointments will be handled wherever possible using the Virtual Meeting Rooms and by Telephone, whatsApp etc.
Physical hearings will only take place where this is absolutely unavoidable, physical lodgings and handling of documents will be avoided. We will be using secured ebundles, in line with guidance from the Judiciary of England & Wales.
Any physical documents being presented to clients will have a 24 Hour 'clearing period' before being presented to the client for a signature.
Our solicitors and staff will be operating on a 50/50 shift basis alternating from the office and the home to minimize the risk and will abide by the personal distance recommendations.
We will continue to monitor changes in emergency legislation that may effect the way your case is being handled and adopt these into our practice.
After every rotation of our staff the offices, especially high risk contamination areas, will be cleaned in preparation for the next team.
Any employees who have the symptoms of acute respiratory illness, will immediately recommended to stay at home, until they are cleared to return to work.
Employees who are well, but who have a sick family member at home, with COVID-19 will also be instructed to stay at home, until they are cleared to return to work.
